As DC's former US attorney and the nation's Attorney General and also being a longtime District resident, I know that this moment demands more than another politician. Replacing the legendary Eleanor Holmes Norton requires someone with toughness, resilience and the ability to fight and win on the national state. Kinney Zalesne is that person.

She has Eleanor‘s backbone and persistence and the experience of getting results that DC urgently needs as Trump‘s attacks leave the city more vulnerable than any point in my lifetime.

Now this race is too important to get wrong. DC needs a representative who’s ready on day one to fight for the city's future. On June 16, DC voters have an opportunity to put the right team in place for the city's future. The DC council needs strong leaders and so does the Delegate's office. For this singular role, we need a proven, experienced fighter who can deliver on the national stage. That fighter is Kinney Zalesne.
